HOW MUCH MATERIAL IS IN THE COURSE?
red
white
The course interface consists of over 175 information screens, 700 illustrations, 8 hours of Real Player lectures/workshops and 75 interactive Chartlab exercises. The course also features a powerful Next Step resource, which allows students to study individual topics in much greater detail through a filtered collection of internal and external tutorials. Most registrants will spend at least 2-3 weeks studying the comprehensive course materials, and then returning for frequent review as they gain real-time experience with the trading concepts.

HOW LONG CAN I ACCESS THE COURSE?
red
white
The student receives unrestricted access to the course materials for 60 days upon receipt of the $189.95 registration fee. The $249.95 registration fee permits unrestricted access for 6 months. Upon course expiration, 60 day students may renew for an additional 4 months (6 months total) for $89.95. All course renewals are made with the express permission of the student. There are NO automatic renewals.

HOW IS THE COURSE SET UP?
red
white
Mastering The Trade uses an original system of overlapping frames to allow presentation of large illustrations on the average browser. The course is divided into 6 logical "gateways" or learning modules that focus on specific trading themes. Each gateway begins with a series of lessons that examine the primary theme through numerous illustrations and highlights. After students complete all of the lessions for the current theme, they arrive at the Hard Right Edge Lecture Hall. Here they listen to 3 focused audio presentations by the course author. Each lecture is accompanied by a student-directed graphics interface.

Following the lectures, students reach the Chartlab module where they interact with 15 exercises that support the current lesson. Chartlab utilizes web multimedia to enhance learning. Student browsers must support standard multimedia functions in order to fully access the course.

The final section of each gateway presents an audio workshop (at least 1 hour in length) on the current theme. These outstanding presentations were recorded live in front of audiences at Expos and training programs across the USA.

Sections 2, 3, 4 and 5 repeat the same workflow with new logical trading topics.

Section 6 offers a 30 question final examination, consisting of multiple-choice, fill in the blank and essay questions that test the student's knowledge of the course concepts. This exam is individually graded by the course instructor and returned with specific comments on the student's progress and trading plan.

SHOULD I READ THE MASTER SWING TRADER INSTEAD OF TAKING THIS COURSE?
red
white
We have designed Mastering The Trade and The Master Swing Trader to present complimentary products that offer unique value for each student. The course features substantial audio multimedia and over 700 original illustrations, as well as interactive exercises that enhance the book's topics and themes. The course also allows students to mentor directly with the author. We have constructed these materials so you can study them in any order you choose. In other words, the course may be taken before reading the book, or vice-versa. However, we strongly recommend that students eventually access both products in order to build powerful and original trading knowledge.

WHAT ARE THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS?
red
white
Mastering The Trade requires Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher OR Netscape Navigator 4.0 or higher with javascript and frames both enabled. Course audio requires the free Real Player Basic plug-in or standalone module. This plug-in can be obtained at: REAL NETWORKS.

The course has been optimized for a 17-inch monitor at 1024x768 resolution. It can be accessed comfortably down to a 14-inch monitor with standard SVGA resolution of 800x600. This course is NOT recommended for laptops under 14-inch or VGA only monitors.

ARE THERE ANY PRINTED MATERIALS?
red
white
All 6-month students receive a free copy of Alan Farley's 70-page eBook "Swing Trading 101: The Basics". Mastering The Trade provides no other printed materials apart from the online course itself. Students are permitted to print any course pages for personal use only.

WHO IS THE LECTURER?
red

ARE THE LECTURES and WORKSHOPS AVAILABLE ON CD-ROM?
red
white
Students registered for 6-month access receive a CD-ROM as part of their registration, at no additional cost. This audio CD-ROM plays in either Real Media or MP3 format. Users must have hardware and/or software that utilizes one of these formats in order to listen to the audio content.

This service is provided for those who wish to have their own copies of the audio material and/or are unable to access a satisfactory Net audio signal. Hard Right Edge assumes no responsibility for the reliability of audio servers or Net connections in general.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE COURSE AND FREE SITE TUTORIALS?
red
white
Free site articles describe general overviews of trading topics that are not useful for executing specific strategies, unless the trader is already highly familiar with the concepts. The MTT course presents original, proprietary tactics not available anywhere else on the Hard Right Edge site, and greatly broadens concepts discussed in the free tutorials. This fee-based workshop offers advanced lessons in much greater detail with specific, proprietary and practical applications to individual trading and execution strategies. The multimedia interface reinforces trading knowledge with focused lecture and charting materials.

HOW DOES THE ASK-HRE FUNCTION WORK?
red
white
Look for the ASK-HRE button on each course page. Hitting the link opens the student's default mail program, already addressed to the course instructor. Responses to questions will be made 7 days per week with average turnaround of 2-4 hours, except for late hour questions USA. In those cases, responses will generally be received no later than 9am ET USA the next morning.

DOES MASTERING THE TRADE TEACH NASDAQ QUOTING SYSTEMS?
red
white
No. It teaches classic and advanced multi-time frame technical analysis trading techniques for swing trading and intraday trading that are software, broker and system independent.
