| Your own charting software pays great dividends over time. You can find opportunities according to detailed criteria that you set (sectors, volume, price, etc). And it allows far more customization than most online services. But the Net is still a great place to start. Use a service like 7-Bells to build a list of stocks in promising setup positions. Then look at the charts in Real Tick, qCharts or other online service and see what catches your eye. Do your homework and keep a watch list of stocks you can follow every day. Become familiar with how their prices move, how their spreads change and how they react to general market conditions. While you'll trade some stocks only one time, look for those that will produce your bread and butter profits week after week.
