| Use Pattern Cycles to recognize bull and bear market conditions. Trend mechanics operate very differently during rallies and declines. Identify where you are at all times and align your positions with the predominant cycle, at least until your trading skill allows countertrend entry with managed risk. For example, if the market is in rally mode, don't enter short sales until a clear price decline has been established. |
