| You find order within the chaos every time you draw a straight line across three or more points. Valuable trendlines can be drawn in practically all directions and in all time frames. While the trading masses concentrate on the few that fit perfectly under an uptrend, you can use the other trendlines to cross-verify promising setup points. Many of these "psychotic" trendlines act as price pivots rather than S/R. In other words, price swings back and forth across the straight line. Organize this tendency with a general price pivot rule: price tends to fail the first time it tries to break S/R, but succeeds on the second try. |
